Wooden pallets are mainly made of the following materials

1. Poplar wood: Poplar wood belongs to broad-leaved trees, with loose and soft materials, poor durability, and is suitable for processing into pallets with low load-bearing requirements. The price is relatively low.

2. Pine: Pine belongs to the coniferous tree species, with a variety of species and relatively wide applicability. Larch (also known as yellow pine) has a coarse texture, hard wood strength, and an unaffordable price, making it one of the commonly used materials for making pallets. Red pine and white pine have fine textures, pale colors, and beautiful appearances. They are mostly used to manufacture fine packaging materials and are relatively expensive.

3. Hard mixed wood: belonging to the broad-leaved tree species, the wood hardness is higher than the first two. Usually, sawn timber such as elm, birch, locust, and willow are used for pallet making. Its texture is dense, the wood is hard and heavy, and its load-bearing capacity is excellent. But there are few large materials, and the prices are moderate
